June 14th, the Grace Assembly of God Sons of Thunder Softball Team will be hosting their 1st first ever Home Run Derby, as a fundraiser to benefit adult and teen challenge Baltimore. Adult and Teen Challenge introduces the Christian World View to people who are battling addiction and going through recovery. Here at Grace, we believe in the work that Adult and Teen Challenge is doing because we believe that Jesus Christ changes lives.
The stories shared by those who have walked through their doors reveal the devastating impact of substance abuse but also the incredible power of hope, faith, and community. Many individuals who enter the program have faced years of addiction, homelessness, and loss, but through the compassionate, Christ-centered support at Adult & Teen Challenge, they find a path to healing and restoration. This organization not only helps individuals break free from addiction but also fosters personal and spiritual growth, equipping them to reenter society with renewed purpose. As a church, we believe in the power of second chances and the importance of uplifting those who are struggling. By supporting this event, we are standing in the gap for those in need, ensuring that they have access to life-changing resources. We invite you to join us in making a difference—every contribution brings hope to someone fighting for a new beginning.
